Finding Your Stride
About
Discover your path with Finding Your Stride, a certified facilitator of
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL).
Our programs offer a unique opportunity for participants to engage with horses and gain personal awareness, life skills, and leadership development. Let the wisdom of these magnificent creatures guide you towards meaningful direction in your life.
Uncover New Depths of Self-Discovery
Harnessing their innate prey instincts, horses astutely pick up on participants' emotions, thoughts, and body language. Horses communicate through clear yet gentle body cues, encouraging participants to adjust their feelings, thoughts, and actions—a practice that seamlessly translates to real-life applications. Facilitators attuned to a horse's unspoken communication work hand-in-hand with participants, navigating them toward powerful transformations. Together, they embark on a journey of self-awareness, unearthing previously untapped insights and experiencing a profound shift that paves the way for personal growth.

Cultivate Confidence & Proficiency
Please note that our offerings are distinct from horse therapy courses. Our programs involve collaborative guidance from both our equine partners and facilitators, empowering participants to make their own choices and focus on developing essential life skills. The objective is to propel them towards personal growth, skill enhancement, and unlocking their true potential. Riding isn't part of this program; instead, participants engage with the horses on the ground. Through this interaction, the horses inspire us to reach new heights, fostering a sense of confidence and proficiency within ourselves and our capabilities.

Nurture Essential
Life Skills
Through our distinctive approach of learning with the assistance of horses, we cultivate essential life abilities in a dynamic, empowering, and imaginative fashion. Our focus remains steadfast on nurturing these proficiencies through positive engagements, harnessing the partnership between our exceptional equine companions and participants. The outcome is a profound individual advancement, where these initiatives transcend surface-level solutions, providing transformative encounters. These experiences find support in an extensive five-year research investigation, collaboratively undertaken with esteemed establishments such as the University of Calgary, Saskatoon, and Regina.
